Free Float is a series of abstract painting works exploring the sensation of being suspended - the sense of deep time where bodies float through the atmosphere gently drifting, colliding, pulsing and reforming. The process involves gradually applying and overlaying transparent and semi-transparent layers of colour. The bodies appear to gently dance through their environment intermittently illuminated by light.
